Re: Found the weirdest thing in Links tub, please look
K, someone with corn snake breeding experience said they look fertile so theres now 3 good eggs in the incubator...I candled them and theres between 2 and 3 small lines in the eggs and they all look decent (keep in mind I've not read up on this{until now} and I have no idea what a decent fertile egg looks like except from a few youtube videos... so I'm giving them a chance....there in a cricket tub with about 4 inches of damp spider substrate with white bits I assume is vermiculite lol (all I have) and then under the cricket box is a heatmat statted to 82 degrees and thats all inside a polybox.....Hope to **** this is right....whether there fertile or not there so getting a chance!

id put the heatmat on the side of the polybox or else raise the cricket box a few inches off the mat with strips of wood or something.

Re: Found the weirdest thing in Links tub, please look
OK so my current Incubator setup is:
The eggs are in a cricket box with spider life substrate mix I got for my sling, there half buried in it.
The cricket box is on the floor of a polybox.
A heatmat connected to a thermostat at 27degrees celcius is taped to the lid.
A thermometer, and the thermostat probe are at the same level as the eggs so the temps are as accurateas possible...so far it's sitting around 27*C.
Theres a small bowl of water in there to keep humidity up and the substrate is moist. I think thats all I can do, anyone with any suggestions to modify this let me know!.
I'm very excited as a lot of people are saying how good those eggs look!
Link is doing very well and laid another 2 dud eggs.
That brings it to 3 good eggs in the incubator and 3 slugs.
I'll keep ya'll posted!

So 7 eggs in the incubator (still look good) and 3 slugs. I'm still very optimistic about this!!! Only time will tell though...

Eggs are starting to look quite bad with the exception of one which is still the same as it was on day one.
