Meet Jaws :)
Huge thank you to Ady for this little guy. Sorry for the poor image but he was having none of it. This is my little Chocolate Fantasy, Jaws. He's been so good and placid till yesterday (maybe having the camera shoved in his face did it) and did the entire barking balloon thing at me and I near died from laughing at his attempts to look scary but man the little attitude was impressive.

Re: Meet Jaws :)
Thank's for the comments guys. He's a cute little headcase!
They are a hybrid Lisa and from what I gather the original crossing was between C. Cornuta and C. Cranwelli but crosses between Ornata and cranwelli are also around. I've read so much over frog forums and some say they are basically the sterile mutts of the froggy world ( I think he's pretty awesome regardless) and some of the frog forums seem to say they are not or not all of them are and it was just rumor spread to stop people breeding. As I actually don't really know anything about them apart from what I've read (no personal experience to say other wise) then that's pretty much what I know about the Fantasy. Maybe someone else can fill us in cause I've loads to learn.

Re: Meet Jaws :)
Cool, yes all fantasies are hybrids I believe, I'm always interested to find out what the crossings are. The crosses with c. cornuta generally have more prominent horms over their eyes and the crosses with the ornatas are brighter, but I'm not too good at distinguishing them yet!
Re: Meet Jaws :)
Well Lisa you know more then me hahaha I couldn't tell my arse from my elbow when it comes to knowing which one is which but they are all lovely little animals.

I did a few weeks of research for an article - Karl and Tony graced me with their knowledge and beautiful pics! It got me really interested in them.
The research on the teeth of c. cranwelli I came across was a little scary though! Haha!
Re: Meet Jaws :)
Oh, I've briefly looked into their mouths in the past. A skeletal mock up of a pacman is unreal. Is the article finished? I'd love to read it sometime Lisa.
Re: Meet Jaws :)
The cranwell's were the only pacman's studied that had teeth like this - a single blade!
It was just a simple write up for Lacerta Tan, should be out in next edition, nothing fancy. Had far more info than I could use!
There's a link to the tooth study in the writeup, I found it absolutely fascinating!
Frogs in general have become sooo intriguing to menow!

Re: Meet Jaws :)
Oh cool, I should be getting that soon then. Really looking forward to it. If you have any more material you wish to fling my way I'd love it.
Re: Meet Jaws :)
Tis only very brief. I'll compile a list of all the resources I used, things I happened upon and send them to you later though
