New arrival
We owned a trio of APH some years ago and always wanted to have them again, totally out of the blue we came across this little guy looking for a new home.
He is 6 months old, very friendly and inquisitive and seems to enjoy being handled. We were told he is chocolate but after viewing the post on colours we are not so sure, what do you think Tan? We are delighted with our new purchase and now just have to agree on a name (My personal choice is Hoover as he seems to vacuum up everything he comes across)

Re: New arrival
He is a smasher John. well done He looks a little like my homo-hog (who will have a feature on here soon, the Gay boy lol)
John sometimes they just don't fit into any one of the 92 classes comfortably. I would have said black eyed Cinnicot if his eye is Black which it looks to be but he seems to have the faintest of masks which would class his as a Brown but then his nose is not solid it's mottled so back to BE Cinnicot. You see where I'm going with this lol
Tell me this, skin colour over shoulder, skin colour on belly and if his sclera is blue and we can class him then. Do you want me to register him for you??

Please don't tell me that What would be the chances of us having two homo hogs?
He's sleeping at the mo so will get back to you regarding skin colours etc, yes we would like to have him registered.

lol I have only had two gay boys in all the hogs I've ever had and I'll do up a proper post on homo-hog soon but he just reminded me of my boy a little lol

Skin colour over his shoulder is brown/grey, underneath is pink. His sclera is brown/black. I would say in the flesh he has quite a distinct mask and his nose doesn't look mottled either. I suppose that this only confuses things further.
cheers

Re: New arrival
John with that info he's going to have to be classed as a brown as it's the closest class I can fit him into, silly in one way as we have seen in the past few years split noses (where the nose is equally split colour wise vertically, pink on one half and brown on the other) we have also seen this trait with one pink eye and one black eye and how do you class that??
Anyway mail me the details you have for him as in
D.O.B (if unknown a guesstimate)
Colour lol
previous owners name
breeder (if known)
your own details but I know those lol
I'll get your cert off to you later today or tomorrow via e-mail

Hi Tony
So far we have just the three, Fudge the brown male, Toffee the brown female and Treacle who is dark grey.
We would like to add a dark grey male to our trio as a future mate for Treacle.
These little guys are so sweet, they are addictive and its hard stop at one.
