Here's a few pics of my Paraguayan rainbow boa, i picked him up about a month ago when i was down in Dublin and thought it was about time i got my finger out and took a few snaps............

Beautiful animal Marty, nice addition to the collection. So for those of us who haven't a clue how big do these guys max out at approximately & whats temperament like on your new lad?

Thanks for the comments guys, i've wanted a pair of these for ages now, i was just lucky to come across this one when i was in reptile haven, as you said Buddy you don't see them pop up too often.

Tan this is the"smaller model", they max out at 3 1/2 to 4 Feet, this guy is a wee bit nervous but dead friendly, he hasn't once looked the slightest bit agressive.

Karl i have to agree with you the head stripes are pretty cool.

i'll try and get a few shots of the female up this evening .

seen the male when marty got back from dubbers, has some nice markings and its eyes are pretty dark,
but is difinitely a little flightly to say the least, just wanted back to its bed i reckon.

Crackin' m8, mine is a slightly lighter colouration than yours, could be just the camera.

What size / kinda viv are you housing yours in?

Mine is temporarily in a 60L RUB he will be moving into his permanent viv which will be 36x15x15 inches once I get things re arranged round here. Thanks Tan, i love her to bits, it took me a good while to get my hands on these two, the only unfortunate thing is that the female is tiny and the male is almost fully grown
