Albino Black Rat
Hi, here's one of my Rat snake Ozzy 7-8 yrs old now. Had him from a hatchling.
Phil you'll remember this guy, though a lot bigger than last time ya seen him.

He's a very laid back snake, especially for a Rat, had a few right wee nasty ones. Never has a feeding strike, seems too laid back lol.
There's a new addition comin' soon, in the process of setting up the housing now. Paraguayan Rainbow Boa. ( can't wait )

Re: Albino Black Rat
Hi Warren
My m8, Gordy ( Sandy Row ) breed them. My sister inlaw worked with him in the Fire service, so I was able to get it direct from him. His pair were actually near white with none of the Salmonish pink markings Ozzy has. Just after a shed there's a touch of lavender in him too.
Tried to cross him with a big female Corn 2-3 yrs ago, no joy, he's a complete loner. Hates being anywhere near other snakes, either that or he's gay.
He is definitely a male, Wayne sexed him along with a few others I had at the time. He got those spot on, so, Ozzy is an odd ball.
Pity, I'd a liked something outa him, great snake.
Seen a nice Red Rat Snake in City Reptiles last week. Nice article too.

Ha, small world. I know Gordon also. My dad worked with him in the fire service also. I knew Gordon when I worked in City Reptiles years ago. I am trying to work out who I got my Albino rats from. It may have been Gordon. Can;t really recall now. How is Gordon? Does he still keep any reptiles?
