Re: Cockatiel Chicks
Hi Chappers,
They make great pets, obviously the more interaction the better the bird but unlike parrots who needs lots of stimulation.. I don't have any in a cage but would recommend getting as big a cage you can..(i hate ones petshops say are big enough) add a few toys, etc and they are fine in a cage when you are at work, school etc. then when home let sit on you hand or shoulder as you get on with what ur doing lol.
I'll be advertising them on gumtree for £50 but on my site as its just turned a year old members can buy for £40... same price for members on here, as I got some great advice and help when i did keep snakes.

Re: Cockatiel Chicks
Oh my goodness they're so beautiful! How are they all doing? It is so cool you get to breed and raise these wonderful birds!
I miss having birds in the house, I can't wait to move to a house where I know for sure I can keep birds again, cockatiels have a special place in my heart.

Re: Cockatiel Chicks
I highly recommend Dee if you ever do decide to go for a tiel. I got one off him years ago and it was the sweetest bird ever (PLUS he spoke lol).
Re: Cockatiel Chicks
Hi Tan & Choo,
sorry about the delay in replying.
They were all sold, i had ones after this but they were booked... at the minute i'm handrearing 1 tiel ( but sold already) and an African Grey.
I've no other birds with chicks at the minute as i'm busy rearranging my aviarys and it's disturbing them but fingers crossed some may get peace to go down soon...
I run a bird site for Northern Ireland, if your ever looking a handreared, aviary bird of any kind... if i don't have any i'm sure someone on there could help.
Awww thanks Tan.... hows the tiel doing?
