Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
Unfortunately i didnt get to bring this guy to The HSI 'Show & Tell' as he was deep in shed. LWhen i came home from work i was presented with two suprises. One a freshly shed retic and the other the most colossal sh*te he has taken to date. (more than likely due to the recent rabbit)
Camera is on the blink and even with a fully charged battery im lucky to get 4/5 photographs out of it. Wanting to re-measure him i went about using the snake measuring tool. Iv confirmed that this software is very accurate on two different occasions by using string to confirm if the size was accurate. First time it was out by 1 inch and the second time it was out by less than 1 inch.
Anyways id like to hear the estimates of what people think he is now. Not the best picture but used a Samsung phone as reference. What do you think? I was suprised myself.

Also while i could i grabbed some quick photos of him, not the best but some nice closeups.

Re: Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
Sorry to keep you all waiting. Havnt had time or day to have a good browse of the forums.
He is 8ft so few people very close. Recently got a 2-1 made for his tank. I needed a new hide but also wanted to put a shelf in for the extra floor space. So i got a hide built but it can also support his weight and has a raised ledge so subsrate can be put on it so win win :) already up and using it.

Re: Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
Ill get some later if i get a chance. Getting head shaved and legs waxed for charity later... Apparently everyone saying the waxing is extremely painful so if im not curled up in the fetal position ill get them up.
Re: Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
oh leg waxing isnt exactly comfortable! i only got one strip done and that stung enough, all the best with the whole thing! hope you raise plenty!

Re: Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
Best of luck mark. Waxing is not the nicest experience but you will be oh so smooth afterwards
Re: Hazard A Guess? - Retic Size
Thanks all!
I can say without a doubt waxing is very unpleasant and not something ill be running out to do again... Legs and head are so cold now...
For Dutch anyways. Have to get some new bigger branches that can run under the spot and water dish. Entrance is a bit big for him atm but will have some nice plants on the front and inside soon.
Urate has also since been removed for any animal activists

Actually now that you say it Tan i thought Dutchy was saying it about the Shelf / Hide thing... Was probably more to do with the waxing / shaving haha!
