If Muay Thai boxers did T's.....
......they would make them like this
Meet 'NUT JOB', a recent addition courtesy of Ady - a Thai Tiger Cyriopagopus paganus. This is easily the most aggressive T I've had so far but what a beauty it is......check out the tiger-striped abdomen and subtle striping on the legs
A bit of an enigma this one, it seems it has enough names to be a serial killer on the run - Thai Tiger, Vietnamese Tiger-rump, Cyriopagopus paganus, Haplopelma longipes and Haplopelma sp. 'longipes'. I think the name 'Nut job' fits just fine.

Loving the description Karl and it is a truly beautiful spider. I can see a cartoon dog on the abdomen haha excellent.
Why all the nutters?? The speed some of these animals can move at is scary.

What can I say, my past seems to have been full of nut jobs so my future doesn't look too bright
Being a T newbie I like to have a good mix of species from all over the globe. While initially the Brachypelma caught my eye (and still do), I have came to really like the baboons and some of the Asians.....which of course just so happen to be the really nutty ones.
@ Tan - I thought some snakes I had kept in the past (notably boas) where fast until I started keeping T's.....as a good friend keeps telling me, when a T wants to move it doesn't walk, it teleports! At least with snakes you can to a certain extent read body language......with these guys you just don't get that chance.
I'd also love to know how you spot these hidden patterns - that cartoon dog took me an eternity to find!
@ Marty - yeah I nearly missed this girl in Ady's too, but a second scour through the T's and being told 'that one's a bit nutty' meant that she was coming home for sure.
