Fire boy - he passed away last week after a serious stomack upset antibiotics had no effect on, poor guy. We still have the female who is much bigger and a much brighter example, but it was a real blow to lose this guy :(

Some fantastic snakes Lisa. I'm sorry for your loss, it friggin sucks when you loose something especially when you try and nothing seems to work. The Clown is awesome and loving the lesser and Mojo, I want's me some of them :)

You know what, I have a real problem telling some of the morphs apart. I watched a few youtubes videos and one of the American guys says the same about telling some apart but obviously making the right call can make the world of difference genetically and the possibilities later for breeding.

Ta tan, I know :( Losing animals breaks me up! We had that boy since he was a hatchling also and his fire girlfriend was just about ready for him :( Lessers and mojos are definitely lovely morphs. That lesser is electric in person!

I know what you mean about telling them apart. That phantom boy is the most expensive royal we have, and although I now know which one he is, I still can't really tell other phantoms from normals! It's all about what he's capable of producing though...with that lesser and mojo for instance!

Thanks owlbass boy, I'm not a huge royal fan myself. Their colours are great, but they're hardly the most fascinating snakes to watch

I do have to say I rather like the clown. I'd sell him tomorrow, but I like him! The female het is very small still, so I imagine we'll stick him to something else first and make some interesting hets. He's a brilliant feeder and is growing VERY quickly!

No you're right John, nothing like a really nice normal.
The morphs are all part of the excitement for me though, esp when it comes to breeding plans!

Just while i remeber Lisa Ady has a nice wee male fire in the shop, just in case you're looking to replace the wee guy that died.

I just need to breed one royal. Then I'll feel much more confident! I still can't believe Dave spent almost 2 grand on a completely normal looking royal. I think he's definitely not allowed buy a firefly

it would kill me spending 2 grand on a snake, in fact if it didn't Tanya would do it instead

i'm not that confident with breeding, but if all goes well this year i should be better confidence wise next year.

I don't mind if I have it, but it's got to be a really nice looking snake. Not something you can't tell apart from a normal!
I've spent a lot more than that on some of my snakes so I'd better keep my mouth shut, but they're stunning looking

I'm not confident about breeding anything bar leopard geckos and boas. Good luck to us both this season

No worries Lisa it happens to me all the time, usually internet explorer decides to freeze.

I probably could justify it if I had the money to spare, I always have something I need to spend it on these days, but if I was to spend that sort of money on a snake it would take it to be something really special.
