Was your little guy burned? Glad he's healed with you. It's amazing how well animals heal isnt it.

cheers tan im not sure wot happened to the little guy but 3 sheds later and its gone burm and retic 990653 i,ll get some up to date pics up soon he,s grew to double the size he is in these pics

Poor little tic, that looks like it was quite a wound. It really is unbelivable how quickly and well they heal though. That burm is absolutely stunning!

thanks guys the wound on the retics head looks worse than it was because he,d just shed and there was a piece skin stuck to it and i didnt want to pull it off incase i opened to wound.And the burm is always hogging the sofa and the remote its good fun watching her and lisa fighting for space burm and retic 772154

Nice snakes you have there. Regarding the marking on the retics head. I have seen this marking on many retics heads, always in the same spot. I have been told that it is a mild case of scale rot and that they seem to get it when not housed correctly with very low humidity levels and inproper temps. I have had some here in my care the same. By upping the humidity and sorting the corect temps clears this rapidly I found. You have that sorted now it would seem.

@dutchogoly yip you,ve seen these before you know me as dave himself burm and retic 772154 @ herpalist ive seen this on some retics aswell and decide to give him a month with me and if it hadn,t improved him was going to the vets and thanks for the info mate
