As I was told off by Lisa for not posting enough pictures here is a few of my royals

Haven't posted to many of my royals as the female I have has been real nightmare for feeding and has been assist fed for the most part it has only been in the last few months that she has fed proper. Now she won't stop

Very nice Steve, one of them has a nice stripe thing going on there. I started off with a royal and was rather unlucky to have a terrible feeder which put me off them, I'd love to have another one now that I have more experience under my belt,

Yea they have caused me sooooo much stress it is unreal.
Thankfully I had Phil on hand for advice or don't think they would still be living.
It's great to see them now healthy and growing well.

In two minds whether I should even consider breeding the female just incase.

But glad you posted, they are beautiful royals. Glad you've got your girl feeding again.
They can be a right drain on every aspect of your being. It's just so disheartening why they just keep shying away from food and won't even look at it, no matter what you do.

I have an adult female here who hasn't fed in at least 6 mths. dealing with lord knows how many anorexic royals, I just don't worry too much anymore. I know I'm doing everything I can, and haven't had one that hasn't come around yet ;0

two lovely Royals, still think the normals are the nicest of all.

If its any help our two Royals stopped feeding last year, they both last fed on Christmas day 2009 the female started feeding again in April 2010 and the male didn't start again until August, during that time he only lost 100grms in weight. Fortunately I had been well warned by Tommy (snakeni) that this was likely to happen so wasn't really worried, since then they haven't missed a feed.
