Royals locked
Our pair of normal 08 royals locked once last year but to our relief the female produced no eggs (she was only 18 months old and about 900 grms)
This year we have seen them locked on two separate occasions in the last week , the last time it lasted well in excess of 12 hours! Hopefully we might see some eggs early next year.

Re: Royals locked
Thanks guys, I am aware that most of you have bred snakes many times in the past but for us this might be our first time and as I am sure you remember the first time is always a bit special! lol. Also I know that to some of you they are just normals but to us none of the other morphs come close.

I agree John. IMO, most of what others call 'normals' in many species, are as beautiful if not more then many of the morphs that come along. Always nice to have an appreciation of the 'normals'.
Re: Royals locked
I feel the same! Normals are the best especially corns and royals!
There brilliant pics John and great news i can't wait to see some eggs and then some babies!!
