Re: Jungle Jag Sib
If it came from Karl then no doubt it will be a stunner. I love the second shot. So how do you find him when he's socialising lol
Re: Jungle Jag Sib
He has to be the most gentle, docile snake we have here.....never once struck at anyone and willingly hugs you til he's put back to bed

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
Like to get him either a high yellow jungle or a nice jungle jag female for the future though he can always pop in with the diamond jungle jag sib female here in a few years

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
Very nice for a sib, if he looks that well, then the jags from that clutch must have been stunners.

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
Glad to see he's doing well for ya Buddy - he's the best looking sib from that clutch I've seen so far! The clutch was pure Coastal though, so no Jungle blood in there. It just goes to show what effect the Jaguar gene can have, even on 'normal' looking siblings.
This is why so-called normal-looking Jag sibs are called just that, to distinguish them from true wild-type Coastals.....because many turn out to be anything but 'normal' looking Coastals, as your wee guy proves.

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
If he's pure coastal Karl where has all the yellow appeared from....looks more like a jungle here than some jungles I've seen, lol...
Saying that there are days when he is much duller and less yellow but after a few days from moulting he turns this bright vivid yellow.
Was one of his parents carrying yellow mate ??
Edit...scrub above question mate as just seen a pic of his parents on here and looks like his dad has the answer to my question, pmsl....

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
I had a jag sibling from this clutch also, and even when I lost the rest of the morelia I held onto her for a while as she was just incredible. I've since given her to a good friend who will give her far more attention than I could. She's turning out fabulous also, not 'normal' looking at all.
Buddy - Get a jag female from her. Was it yourself Karl who told me that jag siblingxjag crosses tend to produce the nicest jags?
Lord, I miss my carpets now. Closest snakes in temperment to a retic I have kept, but even better for decorating the living room as they're always in the branches!

Re: Jungle Jag Sib
Deffo on the look out for a nice female jag here although I might be tempted to put him to the diamond jungle jag sib for a clutch here as well to see what they could produce as both carrying great strength of colour.....

.....is sib x sib a worthwhile cross ??
Been told by terry that sib x jag can produce some stunners
