They are ment to get between 3-4ft but this fella at approx 18 months is between 4-4.5ft so I would guess they can reach 5ft.
If you had asked me I would have said he was around 3ft but then we measured him and turned out to be just over 4ft and he has shed again since that so sightly bigger again.
I think that the fact that they are so selnder people often underestmate their size
