not just to her head its coming out more on her belly and sides with every shed.

did you buy it off mark? i got one today off him and she is really red on her sides and head,not sure if she is pastel tho as the tail doesnt look it,but im no expert.

Yeah we did, they're great looking snakes aren't they.
Not sure of the parentage of them but they seem very colourful for normals

they really are! i was thinkiing possible het??? but as i said im no expert. i think the female was his boa from years ago,but not sure on the father.

Tis a nice clean boa indeed - although any 'pastel' can be hard to see in some boas as it is a very variable trait.....there is no 'het' for pastel, rather the trait works like a 'sliding scale' so only boas with a good dose of pastel genetics will stand out. Looking at the sides of the body can be a good indication as any good pastels I have seen always have nice pink / orange washing along the sides at least.

wow i think i have a pastel then as i have a male and hes the same colouring as her,
hes quite a orange/red on the top of his head and following down his sides as yous have describe a pastel
