regular feeding days??

can snakes get used to a regular feeding day???

reson why im asking is tonight i had the hogg out round my neck while i was cleanin his poop and changing his water, id put him in his viv and closed the door while i went and antibaced myself to hold the salmon, when i returned to put the lock on his viv door he started hissing and snapped at the glass couple times.
the previous n owner had said hed do this when he would be getting fed and just to put a towel over the glass so he could see it coming. however i wasnt feeding him tonight no was i feed anyone so theres no sent about. Altho it is his usual night to feed, but bith it being the "12th" i couldnt buy with shops being closed.
could this be just a coincidence and hes being ratty, still havent put the lock on for fear of him hurting himself!! lol

It maybe that he knows its feeding day,or it maybe that he is just hungry!
