Retic eggs!
Just got around to resizing these now
First this....

And lucky me woke up yesterday morning to find the Jamp had laid, and Dave had already risked life and limb to get the eggs from her and tuck them up in the incubator. I'm glad he didn't wake me, as he happened to wake up at 5.30am :?
Well, apparently she was still in her laying trance, and he got the eggs out without too much trouble.
Final tally - 27 eggs and 1 slug. Not bad for a first breeding out of a dwarf female! She's quite a small Jamp also, only 12/13 ft and very slender and compact compared to the other girl we had.

The breeding was caramel (blond) tiger x Jampea, which should throw some nice tiger and normal het caramels for us. The Jampea influence tends to reduce size and do crazy things with pattern and colour, especially with 'pure' type jamps.
Now we just have to not mess up the incubation!
Thanks to all the people here who already commented over on FB, really appreciate it. Ps - Dave took the pics, not me!

Re: Retic eggs!
Thanks guys :) I am thrilled we got this far. I think you're right Karl, you certainly can't push them into breeding. They will when they are ready and that is that!
Hudsy, they take about 84 days or so to hatch. I've no idea how I will have that much patience, need to just forget about them now for a while!
