The "Big" T Thread...
OK Tarantula gurus, I thought we could liven up this section by posting some of our mature adults here....I'd like to get a look at the giants of course, but would also like to see your particularly outstanding adult individuals of any species [male and female], I'll start off with Jack's approx 8" T. Stirmi...I wasn't convinced it would do very well when we picked her up a while ago...I've been proved wrong, she's thriving...the trick is appropriate temps and conditions, feed relatively well and minimum disturbance....a superb display spider...get posting!!
Re: The "Big" T Thread...
I've recently had a BTS guru ID the above not as T. blondi, but T. stirmi - The Burgundy Goliath Birdeater...I've had a good look and agree...so delete blondi, insert stirmi...

(I have edited the name as requested)
Sorry I missed this Tony. What a beautiful spider and I have to say stunning shots, as always.
I have to admit I have only ever heard or seen offered T. Blondi so nice to see something different, to me anyway. So, for those of us who know very little about these, what are the differences between your beauty and a Blondi?
