How Strong is a Retic?
This strong: (the light guard was in a lot worse shape, Chris had it almost straightened out before he though to share some pics)...

The snake in question is about 9-10 ish foot, not that big when you think about it... We've seen this snake suspended from the light guard on occasion, but this is the first time he's bent the guard. This is all despite the fact that his temperatures are bang on.... Those of you who own these guards know quite well how strong they are too!

oh my goodness! I have those guards and they're so tough, I couldn't imagine anything bending one, I am absolutely amazed that it could have been damaged so badly! Wow!
Re: How Strong is a Retic?
It's a pretty scary thought to think that he's not doing that out of aggression or a feeding response, just by coiling around it and using it as a climbing tool... Imagine the damage they're capable of when they are aggressive or hungry!
