Here it is! The cute little adopted Amel!

So we had a LONG drive up to Londonderry, we took the scenic route to "make a day of it" and help break up such a long drive with things to do on the way but it rained and our forest walk left us looking pretty rough, then we had fish and chips and finally made our way to the nice family that had this snake up for adoption, it seems in pretty good health and was well looked after.

Now this very vivid snake has a home with me where it will be well cared for.

Oh now that's a pretty corn! Sorry your day didn't go quite to plan but still sounds like an adventure and well worth the trip. To second what Deb's has said, fair play for stepping up!
