Re: my burms
Beautifully marked Ted, really liking that first one a lot. How are they to keep? I don't think I'd ever grow a pair big enough to get past my fear of the big guys, but I do like to look at them.
Re: my burms
i find them easy enough to keep if i'm honest, to clean out the cages obviously with the big guys theres quite a lot of mess in the cage but they are cleaned out much more infrequently then the corn or taiwans. feeding they are usually great, kayla doesn't eat rabbits so she gets chickens or multiple rats instead, the other 2 big ones eat rabbits, the 2 smaller ones eat rats. feeding response is great, all of them are very tame, although i do have a second person in with me whenever i get the biggest girl out. with these guys everything is done bigger, they eat big food (large rabbits) need big cages (mine are 6'x3'x18'') have big messes (think small donkey sized, latifah's biggest one so far has filled 2 dustpans) however the rewarding feeling i get when i even see them makes it all worth it.

Re: my burms
I completely get where you are coming from. It's the same for all of us with our own animals of interest. We may not like the same animals but we can all appreciate each others interests. I think for me it's the strength & teeth, well that is it. If there was toothless species I'd probably be far more inclined to want one (I know, big wuss, but sure what can ya do )
So have you bred anyone yet or are they not up to size?

Me miss sunny!
Lovely pics ted. Looks like the lab is starting to grow on a bit. Our girl has now outpassed the granite female - both great feeders, but I'm afraid the retics get priority here!

Re: my burms
these guys are all grand to handle, the big one is obviously tricky just because of her sheer weight but other then that its perfect :)
