Re: Random boa pics
What is the Boa in the second picture? That looks incredibly "het leopard like". Maybe its my monitor.
I knew the motley was a OT CA. Stunning snake.

To be honest Warren I have no idea. I did a trade for her with aguy Paul who is on this forum. Apparently at one time if had a locality label but this label is long forgoten as it passed trhough a few hands before it got to Paul and then myself. she is about 5 years old now and still very small, she was just under 5ft when I got her and is now just over 5ft.

Re: Random boa pics
That is a snake I would kill to have in my collection. Absolutely stunning. The first thing I would bred her to would be a leopard or het leopard (just out of curiosity if for no other reason).

she is a pretty girl and was big enough this year to breed but I was at a loss as to what to breed her to so I never bothered. Didn't want to be producing crosses just for the sake of it. I might put a leopard to her at some point. I did think about putting a hypo to her but the only hypo i had available was the salmon and I would prefer to use a CA hypo of some description.

Re: Random boa pics
Put your het leopard to her this year. Stop being a wimp. It it does not produce leopards, simply sell them off to pet stores as CA boas, not locality boas.
Or, ship her over here and I will happily do that.
