his eyes do look a bit pink in the pics but in the flesh they,re a steele blue colour

Hi, nice leucistic P.o.lindheimeri (or is Elaphe.o.l) you´ve got ... remainds me mine when I got them (1.1) few years ago - really cool "ratties"

lol yep they seem to look like that for a while.
I have only kept 1 rat snake but it got too big at that time so had to move it on.
What size will your's get to ?

Hi.. The eyes arent too 'bug eyed' to be honest.. I have ones alot bigger than that..
It will prob not 'grow into them' as such.. they tnd to stay like that throughout adult hood. My adults all still have theirs..

The one thing I would say is keep an eye (pardon the pun) on its sight.. I am convinced that both my bug eyed Leucy Texas and Albino Leucistic texas are blind or very poorly sighted.. It seems to be related to the deformed eyes..
This is the Albino Leucistic texas as you can see its extreme bug eyed..
(sorry these are young pics as I dont have any current pics on this laptop..

And a normal Leucistic texas with normal eyes..
