Our first leo baby
After exactly 60 days incubation we have our first ever leo baby, she (incubated for female) is from our sunglow female mated to our SHTCTB male. We haven't got a clue what colour she is going to turn out but think she is really sweet.

Re: Our first leo baby
Congrats John! I would say you can be pretty sure of her being a female when she took 60 days to hatch. Our first males of the yr came out at 42 days a few weeks ago, females cooking now
Re: Our first leo baby

Thanks everyone!
Buddy,
Yes we have a jungle female and the broken pattern is very similar.
We have another 7 eggs from this pair still to hatch, some were laid only 15 and 16 days apart, is this a normal interval between clutches?

Re: Our first leo baby
Not uncommon john, usually between 2-4 weeks between clutches so your female is going at a nice rate....just make sure she is eating well between each clutch and getting plenty of calcium and she'll be fine

Thanks for the info,
She is eating everything I offer her including two and three pinkies at a time (quite unusual for leos I believe but she really loves them)
Any more hatchings of your own?
cheers

Re: Our first leo baby
I bet there will be more Buddy! We got 26 babies from just two females last year, I was willing them to stop laying towards the end as we'd had more than enough!!!
Re: Our first leo baby
Congratulations John. Hope there are more to come for you.
