Need a Poke?
I obviously did
Meet Big Moma, a nice big female Indian Ornamental Poecilotheria regalis I picked up this morning. This is IMO the Jungle carpet python of the T World - with an attitude to match! Shes like a Picasso with legs

Re: Need a Poke?
What a gorgeous, big girl she is. I agree with John, there is no stopping you :) A small zoo at this stage I'd say.
Re: Need a Poke?
Thanks guys -yep Buddy this is a big girl, she was bred a few months ago and proceeded to then eat the male! Her previous owner reckoned she is gravid, and by the shape of her abdomen I'm hoping so!
As far as the mini zoo goes, I was a lot worse a few years ago and had 2 rooms plus the back yard littered with animals......a temporary scale-down led to a revival and focus on Aussie pythons and dwarf boas, which peaked at a silly number last year - Marty will recall what my animal room looked like LOL. There has since been a major scaling-down and I'm back to keeping a nice menagerie again. Oh how things go in cycles LOL.
