Re: Our corns
Beautiful! Love the head markings on the second!
I'm not up on my corn morphs really, but Houdini looks like the hypo we used to have a few yrs ago...

Re: Our corns
Lovely corns & great names too. The head marking on tiggs looks like a carnival mask, excellent
Do you have plans for this pair next year?

Re: Our corns
i personally would love to breed Tiggs at some point no way she would be ready next year it will be the year after.Only problem with breeding her is the possibility of breeding stargazers in which case the clutch would have to be put down but i havnt decided yet two years before she will be ready anyway

Re: Our corns
Sorry, I didn't realize she was so young as I didn't pay attention to size tbh (her head marking caught me lol).
Are you worried about Stargazers due to her being a Sunkissed(and the association) or do you know anything about her personal lineage (as in illness, disease etc...)
I thought Stargazer's have a neurological disease, as in it is a disability which affects their motor skills and balance but they can and do live normal, healthy lives. Also, I know the History with the gene but I thought it is now linked to pretty much ever other morph out there.
I only mention it as I know creating an animal with this condition is not something anyone wishes to do and in fact is frowned upon by many if you breed at all (and many people think anything that is not 'normal' should be destroyed), but, if they can live seemingly normal lives why would you destroy them when they could be homed as pets only to trust worthy people? Or would it be to prevent the possibility of those pet only homes being tempted, thus adding to the problem many want eradicated.

Re: Our corns
worried more about the association involved i have looked into it quite deeply and found that although it can be present in a lot of morphs the sunkist is where the stargazer gene shows how bad it can be yes it effects there motor skills and balance but sunkists that display stargazer are for lack of a better explanation vegetated animals they can not eat by them selves and would have to be assist fed for the entire life. A lot of my info was gotten from contacts i have made in the uk that are big into breeding corns. Bottom line i still have not decided and i have plenty of time to decide if im breedingTan wrote:

About her lineage i am not sure as she was bought in a pet shop that does not know a lot about snakes and she was one of the first in my collection and i didnt know alot then either.
