Platinum retic
christ...we have a lot of retics How did that happen?
This girl is one of the most stunning looking snakes I've ever had the pleasure of owning. She is so bright. I could just sit and stare at her for ages! We recently got a big platinum male also, and although he's lovely, this girl is just breathtaking.

Now that's some bracelet Dave is wearing lol She is huge and stunning Lisa! I really am starting to see the appeal these guys have but I shall appreciate them from the PC
So when do you plan on introducing her to her future fella?

Re: Platinum retic
Thanks guys!
Tan, I hope to have her up to size for next yr. She's an 07, but purposely wasn't fed on by her previous owner due to lack of space. That said, she's still a good 9 ft or so, but very slim.
I will probably try putting the male platinum to her next year. Platinum retics operate like fire royals and are responsible for the black eyed leucy retic. There are three 'white' phases - the ivory, ultra ivory and the leucy - a pure white snake with black eyes. If I could just make myself a nice ivory I'd be very happy!
on another note, the male platinum has been locking with a dwarf female. Fingers crossed for some 50% dwarf plattys later in the year! (except it never works out like that, does it? I'm only learning!)
