Re: RED DRAGON
Nice boa! I like it as its something that in theory should've been done ages ago but wasn't! I wonder how a Red Dragon will look? Like a big carrot maybe?

Re: RED DRAGON
Yeah theyre Albino-Bloods, double hets were produced from a Kahl albino female, and a Blood male, whetever the opinion is on morphs ethically, you have to say they are one of the mot striking boa morphs thre is!
I think they're class looking boas, double hets would be the way to go I'd say, a pair of visuals, if you were lucky enough to get them, would be a fair few bob I'd say!

Re: RED DRAGON
This is the only reason I considered keeping my new line (Kahl compatable) albino group. However, after talking to Vin in Daytona, and after seeing the T+ Blood that Tom Burke produced, I decided that that is the route I will be taking. I plan to produce T+ het, 50% poss het bloods next year. Long term project, but its just for fun.

Re: RED DRAGON
Yup, got to agreed with Trunx on this one, of all the fantastic boas out there this one doesn't do it for me either....it'll sure be interesting to see what it turns out like in a year or so....
Re: RED DRAGON
Just read this post. I agree with Tony and trunx: awful looking snake (though hardly the snake's fault!).

Re: RED DRAGON
i dont care for it right now but that is just based on that photo, i reckon adults of this snake would be killer, and i want to see a blood snow it could be almost stark white.

Re: RED DRAGON
Ah well, you can't please everyone lol
i think its an awsome looking morph,i think as the natural loss of contrast that albinos go through that this will become even more uniformally orange. And ofcours there are all the pattern morhs that can be added to.Will be interesting to see how it develops.

Re: RED DRAGON
Its like its crawled through an orange! Incredible. I like wild type and morph animals and that is one nice boa. Have I got this right.....when a Sharp albino was bred to a T+ albino, this guy got thrown out?

Re: RED DRAGON
So is this basically a visual 'het' blood albino? i.e. if bred to another het it will produce something even more ridiculously luminous?
.....I think I just found a replacement for when my torch batteries run out!

Re: RED DRAGON
Nah all 3 are recessive.
I would hate to see the price of the hets never mind an actual visual.

Re: RED DRAGON
i retract my previous posts iv been talking crap, it was purely a blood khal boa. both recessive genes,
i was mixing that up with warrens post on the T albino. lol
the hypo blood salbino has been made which is the sunglow version of this. produced by rich ihle he also produced the sharp version of this in 2008

think your thinking of Peter rice's sharp albino x russian line T= breeding that produced what Peter is calling the mystic. This boa is a Kahl albino x blood breeding

Re: RED DRAGON
they way i am imagining it the anery gene would take all of this out leaving a snow that is much whiter and has a lot less yellow then regular snows. even just and anery blood would be cool
