She's finally flipped!

The other day we were sitting having lunch in our kitchen when the OH spotted a small house spider hanging from our ceiling fan, it was up and down a thread trying to catch a couple of small flies which were buzzing around it.
"Will you catch one of those flies for me " the OH said, "Why" I asked, "so I can feed the spider" she said. "You've got to be joking" says I. " No I'm serious".
After I swatted one of the flies she carefully picked it up using a small pair of tweezers and offered it to the spider, to my amazement it took it!

I managed to get a couple of pics of the event (but am not allowed to print the one of the OH balanced on a chair, tweezers in hand actually feeding the spider - you'll just have to visualise that one for yourselves!

I'm now just waiting for the men in white coats to call and take her away! lol!

I'll collect her, she can feed my T's if she wants, there's enough of them! Embrace it dude, it's hard enough to get some OH's involved.

Lol, I fed a fly that was annoying me in the room yesterday to my Avic. metallica and she was well pleased even though she had a cricket in her mouth.

Now that's a great story and I can just picture it all too which makes it all the more funny but at least Nikki is looking after the non pets too. Some people frown at wildlife being fed by us humans, I wonder what they'd make of this She's finally flipped! 766969

I think it's excellent!! Well done guys.

I used to feed flies to the mantids but tried to offer them live and let them hunt in their houses apart from my super lazy, ridiculously 'tame' orchid who was tweezer fed everything but she was a babe so I never minded.
