Irian Jaya Carpet Python

im getting an irian jaya CP this monday night and to get the tank set up i was wondering for those who have kept carpet pythons could give me advice on what substrate is best suited for them?

i use newspaper mate, about a month old.

I use shredded paper as its free, allows for easy spot-cleaning as it clumps around poo, and is easy to come by - just shred all those letters you don't want to read and let your carpet python use them as toilet paper :)

newspaper is the best as there is no dust which is better for the snake and for you. its easier to clean and it takes no time at all and you will have more pennies in you'r pocket .hope thats helps
