Re: My CP hatchling
I knew I recognised that wee carpet.....I bred it last year! Its a Jaguar sibling, and was one of my holdbacks until I sold it with another in Dublin last December.
Here she is as a hatchling last autumn:

Check out the distinctive head and neck markings :)
I had her sexed as a female, she was one of two Jag siblings that I held back as they both had very nice pale striping down the sides of the neck and body. The other of the pair is for sale in Dublin at the moment so I was wondering when and where your girl would turn up!

Re: My CP hatchling
I'm 100% dude - have a look at the head markings, these are like fingerprints in Morelia snakes and no 2 are ever the same. Compare her head markings the photo you posted and the one I posted, they match up 100% - actually pick any marking and you'll find they are identical on the 2 photos. Jag sibs have a distinctive look to them that sets them apart from normal, wild-type Morelia subspecies like Coastals and Jungles.
I keep a photographic record of every hatchling I produce and also keep records of feeding and where each hatchling ends up - so I can pretty much tell you everything about her from September to December last year.
When you breed a Jaguar carpet (a colour and pattern mutation of the Coastal carpet) to a normal Coastal, you get 2 things hatching out - (1) Jaguars and (2) normal-looking Coastals. However, these 'normal' looking Coastals have a distinctive look to them and are also usually more contrasting than normal Coastals (not as much as Jungles though), hence they are called 'Jaguar siblings' to identify them as distinct from normal, wild type Coastals. They don't carry any of the Jag's genes.

That is indeed a clutchmate of Pitviper's carpet python Buddy!
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but again if you look at the head markings......actually, pick any marking on your snake's body, head, neck, anywhere, and compare it to this pic:

Cheers for the link mate.....always great to be able to trace a snake's lineage.
