Re: some of my newly hatched leos
very cute and healthy looking! It's such a long wait for females isn't it? I incubated for males first and they flew out on day 42. The females (most likely) took about 55 days. I thought eggs would never start to hatch, but now i wish they'd stop!
Re: some of my newly hatched leos
cheers lisa i know last year i must have hatched over 30 babies 90% turned out to be males i only sold the last 1 a month ago i had plastic tubs and heat mats everywhere. this year i dropped the temp and as you say it took a bit longer for them to hatch and i lost quite a few eggs but hopefully i have it sorted for females lol

Re: some of my newly hatched leos
sounds like you'll be good to go
Although never can be sure i guess!
Despite my family having a steel engineering company who promised to whip me up racks, they never got round to it and are up to their eyeballs at mo. So we bought a refurbished contico racking system from pro-racks at a great price and it's superb - when babies come, I just throw them into another tub. no more heatmats and tubs all over the floor!
well, baby tubs anyway. We're waiting on freedom bredder for bigger animals.
You could throw something together quickly enough with geckos, and then if it takes a while to sell them, they're not too much in your way anyway
