update on baby boas
Most of the 17 babies have either shed, or are cloudy so I'm happy. A few took their first meal last night - defrost with no problems. What little strikers! I wasn't expecting that to be so easy, but i'm sure some of them will give me a bit of bother
Here's some freshly shed babies. Lady in first pic has had a rat pup, and the last girl still has a leg sticking out of her mouth if you look closely. Sorry about the terrible pics....dave (aka rover) took them..haha!
Mum is still a bit of a headcase, so will allow her another feed before disturbing her to take pics...

Thanks for looking

thats what i was thinking also wama, can certainly see it in the first two pics.
first few saddles down from the neck have a peak in the middle of them. find the same sort of thing on some pure BCC, cant remember the correct one of hand tho.

Re: update on baby boas
Lisa, Glad to hear all's going according to plan, well done.... and super little boa..
Re: update on baby boas
Excellent news Lisa and nice shots too. The red is really intense. Well done.
Re: update on baby boas
thanks guys, altho pics are terrible - i will take more and make sure to resize on photobucket before posting
The majority of them seem to have widow's peak saddles on neck, and lot's have a H on their tail as well..
Must put up pics of mum when she chills a little - see what you guys think. She's a very clean boa with a yellow tinge, and has a gorgeous rich yellow belly. Lots think she's a pastel, but one way or another she's the nicest 'common' boa i've seen - despite me being biased!

Re: update on baby boas
Nothing beats a bunch of squiggly baby boas at the bottom of a cage!!! Good job on producing some beauties!

Thanks for compliments, will get new pics up real soon - and will include mum and dad! Some babies are doing great and have had two sheds and a few feeds, others not so great, but hey, that's life. I'm glad i got any at all
