Red-tailed Green Ratsnake
Took this pic of a Red-tailed Green Ratsnake at Birmingham Nature Centre - a lovely small zoo right in the middle of the city beside Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

General view of their small reptile house. A lovely set out and maintained building.

Loving the colour on that guy. The room kinda reminds me a little of Dublin Zoo before they did it up.

Hi Tony. No, the Womas were at Cotswold Wildlife Park, and were the personal animals of Iri their head of Herpetology. He's a great guy and has a fantastic knowledge of, and a great skill with reptiles. I watched him handling various venomous snakes such as Mambas, a couple of years back; the snakes were handled and worked in a truly professional manner. A great guy. I must load a pic of his adult African Bullfrog which I got to hold. I reallly have to get one!!

Raymond,
Sounds great....is he a personal friend or was it work related?? I remember going to the wildlife park years ago on a day that a Tapir gave birth...at least I think it was Cotswold...I can't think of any others in that area...
