my corns, Kar and stretch

caramel motley and ghost corn, not great pictures as wriggle little s### and the caramel was jus fed, forgot was gona take photos. lol
ghost is a little thin because the little begger is playing funny buggers with her feeds!!! but im working on that!!! lol

she was great when i got her n has been for the last while, striking away no problem every week on large pinkies, the caramel was at that time not eating because of the move. Shes great now, med-large fuzzies, now the ghost wont eat no matter what i try!! this will be the fourth week she hasnt eaten. shes locked in a small box with a warm brained pinkie at the min. hoping shes jus going thro a phase!! i normally wouldnt worry except shes looking very thin!!

this will be the fourth week as i said above im just starting to be concerned as shes gettin thin, shes still lively enough but jus wont eat!! dont want to but may have to assist/force feed her soon!!

it can be worrying when they go off their food esp one so young, take it she didnt eat the pinky?

nope! getting really frustrating!!! guess its time to assist feed!!! lol the joys!!!

the pattern on that caramel mot is fantastic,sort of cubed theing going on there by the looks of things.

feeding probs-you could try putting the corn in a plastic tub with nothing else in apart from a samll hide,put the pink in the hide and this will almost garentee the snake will hide in the hide beside the pink,hopfully pink will be gone in morning.

also try methods you have already tried but with tuna scented pinks,you can drain the brine from a tuna tin and then freeze it,breaking of little bit as you need it

abovioulsy get the ghost sorted before hand but was thinkin of selling them both if your interested,
to help fund for a nice pale female salmon, phil your babies have put me in the mood!! lol jus didnt have the money to get one!!



well thats me off to Asda to get the cheapo tuna yet again, other half made me thro it out last time!! lol
im really hoping something works soon!! really dont want to resort to force feeding!!

this is the little caramel outa the tub, howvever typically she is now going into shed, so not the brightest in the world, i will say however her belly is great!! wasnt expecting that when i picked them up.

shes locked in a small box 4"x4"x2" approx again with another pinkie sented with tuna, if this doesnt work Raymonds got a couple live pinkie for him to have a go at!! lol if that doesnt work im afraid it will have to be assit fed, iv tried every other option, unless someone else has got some other far fetched ideas??? lol

have u tried reptiboost in the water?, can start a feeding response helps the tummy bacteria to get up and running again which can start a feeding response. Another thing is to just not offer food for a while- offering too often can actually put them off even more I have found this with royals- and my female gopher that i used to own. I know u are worried about it getting thin but the reptiboost will give it some added vits and minerals at this time which will keep her ticking over- just make sure and change the water every day if using reptiboost.

iv tried leaving it 4 days between feeds but still nothin. havent got reptiboost but ill see bout it tomorrow after work. with any luck the stupid thing will have eaten tonight and all this will be over!! lol

should of thot to ask when i was down last night, ah well shes getting a pinkie rammed down her throat later tonight, iv just had enough of this messing around!!! lol

i tried assist feeding her last night, but she just spat it back out, so it was force fed ad massaged down her throat. was quite stressed out by the end of it for obvious reasons, and so was the snake. but shes kept it down so far.

hoping she doesnt regurge it now jus to pee me off even more!!! then ill try feed her as usual in couple days, try build up her strength.

Dunno whether you've tried this but try feeding at different times of the day.
I have royal that wouldn't feed properly for 2 two years now when i feed her in the morning she feeds everytime.
Just a thought. Also make sure she isn't handled for at least week

another update, the little ghost has past away sometime today,
little annoyed as i tried everything, scenting with few random things just incase, feeding different times throughout the day and night, and in the end force fed her, got some reptiboost which i think was what kept her going, she also seemed to pick up a bit with the force feed.
i had tried letting her go couple days n fedding her with scented again but nothing. and then force feed again. that was 3 days ago.
im guessing there may have been something bit more serious wrong.

but on the brighter side of things the caramel is doing great, had her shed which was perfect, n didnt even stop feeding this time!! strange little bean this one, typical woman!!!
