Freshly moulted Chaco

While mucking out the other day I spotted this


and nearly soiled myself. Then I remembered that this girl was due a moult


By days end she had moulted out and was drying off. Cool posture - her knees are all pulled in, so protecting her entire body. Her colours have really brightened with this moult.

She looks like a Cracker.. that one is abit biger than the frist one you order lol

Shes awesome looking, and yeah she did that sometimes in her little burrow for me with the knees pulled up haha

It is indeedy! And what a cracker she is. This girl is bomb-proof and a beaut into the bargain.

LOL yeah this girls a bit bigger Jim - although even the sling is a bin when it comes to food!

Ive got one of these guys that moulted last night, ive had him since he was a tiny sling that i got in bens shop last summer,hes still only small but looks really good,ive been hoping and praying that he is a she,and coming up to each moult i convince myself hes a female,but after moulting its very apparent hes a male ah well like i said ive had him since he was tiny,so im kinda attached to him but i really wished he had of turned out female

I found her around 8am and took the first photo; by around 7pm that evening she had moulted out and the second photo was taken. I did mean to keep an eye on her during the day but work caught up with me and I didn't get a chance.
