First Pokie Moults...

Delighted to see both Pokies moulted successfully the other day....and both at the same time, spooky!! regalis and ornata respectively...

Great to see they successfully moulted Tony. Nice collection you have. Does no one else find their spid moults the teeniest bit creepy?

Nice shots Tony, I'm still trying to learn to ID the different Pokies so will have to study your photos closely Did they build a moulting web at all?

I had a few moults sitting on top of a viv just inside my animal room, and for a while there, every time I walked in I nearly bricked it as I thought a T had got out LOL. The moults are amazing Tan - its like someone has made a copy of the spider out of thin tissue paper.

I'm the same Karl...very confusing especially these two...both spun webs and moulted within...I gingerly plucked out the moults with forceps...

I was actually scared of the chiles molt when it came out....it's the carapace on it's own that freaks me out
I'm just glad it's not the most regular occurence!

I should have said, awesome looking molt Tony! Pokies have amazing color/patern on them
