when the weather gets better and i can get stuff posted im gonna do two experiments. one is not really an experiment but will make a good display. gonna get 15-20 p regalis slings and house them together, this has been done to death anyway so i wont learn much.
my real interest is testin weather p murinus really can live communal. as far as im aware people have done it, but then seperated them as they mature, im gonna leave them together; no separation of male, female or if im lucky future slings.id like to get a full eggsac if i could. should be interesting...........

Have they been separated as they mature due to peoples fears of the possible or because they won't tolerate each other in adult form?

i'm not to sure tan, they are humpy wee tarantulas though. im hoping with enough substrate, a big enough tank and plenty of structures to climb i can keep a wee colony going. i wanna see if they eat each other for the sake of it, or just to keep the numbers comfortable in the tank. if they do breed then i can get a few out the odd time to see if extensive inbreeding affects them at all.......................
