Tanzanian Blonde Baboon
A recent addition is this super fast and crazy T - a subadult female Tanzanian Blonde (AKA Fort Hall) Baboon Pterinochilus lugardi
Apparently P. lugardi isn't as aggressive as P. murinus, however I was only moving her tub this morning and she reared up at me! Not one I'll be handling anytime soon LOL

Re: Tanzanian Blonde Baboon
Oh shes pretty but would have my nerves gone. Loving the markings on her rump, it reminds me of something but I cannot place it.
Re: Tanzanian Blonde Baboon
Thanks guys, although I must admit I feel ths girl is a little beyond me at the moment - I'm still getting used to the Grammostola, Brachypelma and Avic species.
This girl is a different kettle of fish and so I'll be taking it nice and slow with her. If you Youtube baboon T's there are quite a few people handling them. They are like greased lightning and nasty to boot....I knew they were fast but nothing prepared me for how fast they actually are!
My heart lies with the Central and South American terrestrials and arboreals, but a few Old World T's are stunning....recently I've taken a shine to OBTs and Pokies.....next time I post it could be from a hospital bed!!

Re: Tanzanian Blonde Baboon
Thats nice karl but i still can't believe you got a baboon.............. mad man
Re: Tanzanian Blonde Baboon
From snakes to baboons?....you're going get hooked.
Some spiders take you into the realms of interest, but baboons and pokies take you into a realm occupied by vintage port drinking court judges in musty old wine cellars (eccentricity).
I would guess that a stint in hospital would be a cure for this madness :)
