Yea I can't believe how much a photo can change with a few clicks of a mouse.
I will do a step by step photo from raw to finished to show the difference and what each step is.
Think Tony may have few good tips as well.
I am only learning from my digital photography book still lol well worth the £15 i paid for it.

Looking forward to it Steve. I agree, it is amazing and if you are a photoshop wizz then some of the things that you can do are unreal.

It's also sad in a way because I think there is a real art to film photography which is being lost IMO.

Yea Tan your right about film.
I have never used a film camera to be honest other than the deposables you by in the chemist.
It's only recently I have started to get into photography but have used photo editing software for graphics for a while, need to learn the difference between computer graphics and photos lol

Great comparisons Steve...you'll notice that although the general shot is in better focus, the "noise" has increased significantly...you really can't win 'em all, if you gain in one area you oftentimes lose in another....
