What am I?

We swapped some bearded dragons for this guy and a normal female (possibly full of eggs), we are not sure what colour morph he is but thought possibly gold dust or amber. We are sure someone out there will know exactly what colour he is.

as you say John he is either golddust or amber or maybe ultra caramel.The only real way to know is the test breed him to an amel.

We have an amel female who should be up to breeding weight next spring so we will try him with her. What would you expect to get from the above?

golddust X amel = 50% amel and 50% ultramel

ultra caramel x amel =100% ultramel

amber x amel= 100% normal

results may vary if there are unknowen hets!

Yes with the male in question (amber/gold dust) Don't know what hets she may have but hopefully time will tell!

The OH was surprised that you didn't include her in your remark! You are quite right they are our daughter Stephanie's hands.
Stephanie has claimed this boy (still to be named) as hers and he has pride of place in the viv in her bedroom as she thinks Adam has enough in his room
