"Your Boids"

The "Your Colubrids" post was and remains a big hit and has provided for plenty of contribution thus far. I've popped this post into "General Snake Chat" as Boids cover both Pythons and Boas.

What I'd like to see here, is some of your favourite, select and diverse Boids, if you have a huge collection just show us a few of your outstanding group/collection. So, Ground Boas and Pythons, Arboreal Boas and Pythons, semi Arboreal and terrestrial, normals, morphs the whole shooting match, a couple of lines on what they are and any point of note or interest always welcome and well received.

I'll start the ball rolling as normal with a beautiful 08 Anery Nicaraguan Dwarf Boa....procured from Phil [Admin]....only after managing to prise it gently from his death like grip...BTW Phil she's on a regular feeding regimen is putting on the weight and is looking terrific!

Your 2 Sonorans are awesome, the male's a little stunner...

You need a bulb guard on that. Even with a low wattage bulb you run the risk of a burn, and/or the bulb shattering under the pressure and cutting your snake pretty badly.

Warren, I've got to tell you the Costa Rican T+ must be one of the best looking BCI's I've laid my eyes on....Harlequins great, but the Costa Rican is right up my alley...just take look at it!!! Terrific photos too.

Well spotted Warren. Was back when i first got her. That slanted bulb is gone, changed it when i caught her doing that. Viv is heated with a ceramic and is protected by a guard.
