Jungle babies are being born!!!!

WOW HOO! at last. Looks like I'm going to be the second person to breed Jungles in Ireland

She's still pushing them out...23-24 healthy babies so far, 2 still born. They are sooo healthy - trying to escape already! No slugs, no attached yoks except on the two that are stillborn.

Some absolutely amazing looking hypo jungles coming out. One thing though....my male is NOT a supersalmon!!!!!!

Couldn't be happier, despite the whole supersalmon thing. Not sure on final numbers Phil as they're just all sitting in a tub and eventually got too exhausted to go through them all, but there are a good 11 or so hypo jungles I can see. I'm not good at telling any normal jungles yet, while the hypo jungles are easy to spot. - There is one normal jungle with an insane pattern, but I can't tell his colour from the normal looking babies. I'll just have to wait until their first slough when I can get a better look and separate them etc.
Will probably be asking for your help!

it really is fantastic to finally see jungles being bred in Ireland. The thing is apart from some funky patterns young jungles can look very similar to normals when they are young but after a few months and a few sheds they completely change. They are spectacular on their own but can be used with anyother morph to produce spectacular combos. Can't wait to see how these guys progress.

I believe it is - always nice! There are such nice animals being produced here this yr, exciting times.

so are these all 50% poss het albino on top of whatever hypo/jungle thing they have going on?

They are indeed Ted, all 50% possible het kahl albino.

Looks so far like 4 commons, 6 normal/low expression jungles, 1 high expression jungle, 3 regular/reduced/low expression hypo jungles, 7 high expression hypo jungles and 3 regular hypos (one may be a hypo jungle). One of the hypos is 'Midget', gorgous little white eyed thing that is half the size of the rest of the litter. SO cute!
