wel this is more curiosity than anything
but i was wonderin if i was to put just say for example
a corn snake in a rub on a heat mat wud it be ok under my bed
or wud the cold side get to cold as its on the ground
well get back to me this is more for future plans in the case i run out
of places to keep reps :L

It wouldn't get a day/night cycle so it wouldn't be good for the snake :)

You prob be best getting shelves built which can house alot more snakes in a smaller space.
All you need is the broad shelving from B&Q and a heat mat strip which is what I was using for alot of my snakes.

Snakes do need a day/night cycle as hedwigdan has said.

Yea a shed is a good idea.
But a few things to take into account beforehand.

1: Temperature during the winter will fall dramatically - how will you heat it ?

2: Security - if people know what you keep they might try and steal them. It happens more than you think and has happened to a few on here.

if you have a dresser chop out a rectangle from the front of the drawer and insert a sheet of glass....BOOM! viv/rack hybrid

I had mine on the ground before and the temps were grand. My room is well lit though and they had a decent day/night cycle.
