is it 105 days from Post-Ovulation shed for amanzon tree boa's or it longer,, i can never remember,,, cheers

ha kinda,,, long story ,, was not ment to breed them , i was ment to be given them to someone, but was holding them till the person was ready ,, but they ended up breeding and now shes nearly due , ah well ha ha , i'll post pic whenever she pops

Gestation in Amazons is long. Off the top of my head, it is around 160 days, after ovulation. They are much longer than Boa constrictor. I have bred amazons around 10 times but do not have my note books with me here in the U.S.

what i ment to ask was,,, can you recall if they shed befour they give birth to there young?i have heared that they do shed ,but also that they dont..

All shed while gravid and then again within a ten days of birth. I do not recall any immediately before birth however.

ah grand suff,, , i read some stuff saying that they shed a week or so befour given birth/, but then i read outher stuff saying no amanzon tree boas dont shead befour given birth,, they only shead after they give birth , so was bit confused by that ,,. cheers
