Yep, lol....my young lad calls them all "his little raptors" cos they charge you with their tails curled in the air, screeching and with no fear of having a bite while they're at it !!!!

Sweet little ones Lisa, I'd be interested in a couple of females once they're old enough to sex

Re: Leo babies.....
Our temperature sexing has always been 100% accurate - I know it's never completely guaranteed, but everything I've ever bought as temperature sexed has always been dead on also. I find the incubation period is a good indicator also - these hatched at 42 days so I'm pretty much certain they are males, which is what these few were incubated for as a friend wanted males all the rest will be females though.
I've found that with waiting to visually sex, you can obviously tell males as soon as the visual signs appear. But we had a 'female' last yr that completely looked female up until she was 8 months old and started to become visually distinguishable as a male! I don't think you can be 100% with visually sexing females until they are almost a year old, but you have a very good chance of getting it right with temp sexing. Unless you are incubating for a mix of course
Ps - the new additions are gorgeous!

Fingers crossed these are all incubated female here but time will tell....
Know what you mean as 2 of our "females" bought last year ended up being males, lol

Re: Leo babies.....
Bad luck!
Our females have generally taken well over 50 days to hatch, males much less.

The last two to hatch here...
both hatched at exactly the same time from two eggs that were attached together since laying and have almost identical patterns

Re: Leo babies.....
Nice little Leos Buddy and that's really weird isn't it. I wonder if they set each other off when hatching due to being more aware what's going on next door as apposed to unattached eggs but obviously that doesn't explain their patterns lol
