Re: ugly duckling!
I think she's actually really pretty! Not a boa fan by any means, nor am I a fan of particular locales or morphs, but every once in a while I spot one I like... This is one :)
Re: ugly duckling!
Thanks Milca and Tan
not really an ugly duckling, it's just how some people describe them (referring them to the story of the ugly duckling by Hans Christian Andersen) as they go through their colour change over the first 3 years.
shes a wee cutie really, lol

Re: ugly duckling!
Nice longicauda. I am a big fan of these. Over the last few years I have been buying clutches from different breeders here in the U.S. in order to select my favourite animals. Once they have started their colour change I select the ones I loke best and sell/trade the rest. Here are two of my holdbacks:

Re: ugly duckling!
Thanks Warren, seen your post on longicaudas posted a year or two ago (think it was on another forum!) a few months back while doing a search for BCI, real stunners you got there.
First time I seen them on Hermann Stöckl site, that was it, spent hours and hours tracking down a pair, lol
Maybe next year i'll get some funds up for one of his anery longicauda ......... not over keen on his zeros though!
maybe they would be different in the flesh!
For anyone interested, here is an adult ugly duckling

Re: ugly duckling!
Peruvian Long-Tails are my favourite of all the boas! i like them better with their black n white look rather than the blueing they get. do they always eventually get that blueish colour or can the keep the black n white look??
