its clear that snake could clearly over power them both!!! especially as she bassicly has it wrap round her neck! this truely does set bad handling to novices! even when she said she didnt eat!!

Yes Hudsy, the title says it all - a 16ft Burm is a handful for anyone.

This video highlights everything you SHOULDN'T do when handling a snake.....sure there are more than just the girl here, but a snake that size could still cause serious injury to her neck /. face before anyone had a chance to react accordingly. Why, why, why do people put big snakes around their neck? Its one of the3 dumbest things you can do as a human being.

I also reeeeeeally don't get why people KISS their animals.....I mean, come on, has anyone heard of Salmonella??

To finish, letting a snake's head that close to your face is also not too clever - could you imagine what a snake that size could do if it bit her?

Yea I was thinking look at how much effort she is applying to lift the animal alone. It's a scarily impressive looking snake.

Karl, I have to admit to being one of those stupid people who kissed animals in the past even though I'm fully aware of the dangers each one poses. Cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, hogs, reps and I don't know how I haven't come down with something before now but obviously it is not something you should do or I would recommend people do but it does seem a common thing within any 'animal group' of keepers I know. Stupid, yes.

What a disgrace. That's certainly one of the most unsafe ways of handling a constrictor of that size [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
