Vets in Dublin area?
Hi,
I have been looking for a vet (preferably in Dublin area) who has some experience with hedgehogs. With no success so far, I must say google tends to be more helpful than vets we met... Is there anyone you could recommend? Is there anyone at all who is not completely helpless facing a hedgehog?

Re: Vets in Dublin area?
North or South Dublin?
North Dublin;
Anicare Veterinary Group,
183 Botanic Avenue ,
Glasnevin,
Dublin 11
(01) 8375543
Ask for Mary Geary. This is the practise I use more then any other and Mary is the woman to see.
South Dublin;
Bainbridge Vets (A & B Vets),
Overton,
Upper Kilmacud Road,
Dundrum,
Dublin 14
(01)2987510
Ask to see Mr. Bainbridge him self. He's superb and really knows his stuff.
Can I ask what it is in relation to?

Re: Vets in Dublin area?
Thank you!
I just want to be prepared in case our hedgehog needs professional care. So far we have been lucky enough to avoid any major problems - but even with the minor ones (it's our first hedgehog so we might have been a bit overprotective ) the vets we met were... well, a bit lost, to put it mildly.
Thanks again for the contact details, much appreciated.
PS.
And that's our baby

Lovely hog you have there. You're actually doing what most don't, getting your self prepared for any possibles so well done. I like people who do it this way, the right way IMO.
Don't mind Tony, they've only just started to let him out at weekends but he does try, bless him!
