Communal viv.......Advice needed !!!!
Hi guys,
I have been thinking of starting a communal viv
I would like to have Rough Green(s), Green Anoles and maybe some Frogs.....
Just wondering how easy/hard would it be to pull this off if i manage to source all the animals?
Can i house more than one green together? How many anoles?
Are there any good sites/links or books on this subject? or any books on it?
This viv would be Display only as i have read that Greens cannot be handled as they are frail?? Is that true?
Does anyone keep any communal vivs successfully with snakes/lizards and amphibians?
Thank you for reading :)
Joe.

Re: Communal viv.......Advice needed !!!!
it sounds big and costly
i would imagine your are gonna have to have a tank around 6ft 4ft 2ft as you will need to get some sort of fish tank in for the frogs and what if a snake gets a bit hungry and sees the frogs (not sure if it will eat it but could be a possibility)
i had the same idea but with boas only
but my boas are different sizes so im afraid the bigger one will squash the smaller ones but once iv them all round 6ft ill put all the females together

Hey Hudsy, i know a guy who pulled this off, the rough green left all the others to there own devices and i know it's gonna break the bank a bit but the end result would be worth it, i can email you photos that the guy sent me if you like to see it.
